The first breath of Albert Pujols, on January 16th, 1980 in the Dominican Republic. He was born to a single mother and stepfather who remained friends with his parents after they divorced; however, Bienvenido went through alcoholic retirement because it took too much out of him when dealing with alcoholdiette.

Growing up, Albert Pujols was often taken to games by his father who played in the Harmon team. His love for baseball and desire to be just like him led young Alberty into becoming one himself!
